Beile Gao is a principal investigator at South China Sea institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Science. She received her PhD in Biochemistry and Biomedical Science from McMaster University, Canada and completed postdoctoral training at Yale University before taking her current position. her research interests focus on bacterial signal transduction and genome evolution. At this conference, she would like to share our unpublished results on a novel flagellar protein that is required to stabilize the stator ring and belongs to tetrameric PilZ family.
