Yong Chen

Chen Yong (June 1982 - present), College of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Engineering, Nanjing Tech University, is a doctoral advisor. He currently serves as the deputy director of National Engineering Research Center for Biotechnology (NERCB). His main focus is on the development of continuous fermentation and catalytic technology principles based on microbial population effects, as well as their industrial applications. As a project leader, he has undertaken several national-level projects, including the National Science and Technology Support Program, the National Key Research and Development Program, and various Natural Science Foundation projects. He has published 37 papers as the first or corresponding author in journals such as METAB ENG and MBIO, and has applied for over one hundred patents. He has received multiple national and provincial scientific and technological awards, including the Second Prize of National Technological Invention. Additionally, he has been recognized as a national-level candidate in the "The new century talents project", Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Fund and Jiangsu Province Youth Science and Technology Award.
