She integrates multidisciplinary approaches, including molecular biology, biochemistry, bioelectrochemistry, bioinformatics, molecular dynamics simulations, and computational biology, to develop research plans. Her work focuses on the substrate complexity of microbial extracellular degrading enzymes, predicting and designing interactions among free enzymes, elucidating and reconstructing electron transfer pathways, and establishing synergistic catalytic systems. She aims to intelligently design and modify rate-limiting enzymes and steps, analyze the regulatory mechanisms of degradation enzyme networks, and conduct targeted modifications and precise control of artificial multi-enzyme cascade systems, ultimately achieving efficient degradation of recalcitrant biomass and directed conversion into high-value products.
