Researcher Ju Feng received a B.S. degree in environmental engineering from Jianghan University, a M.S degree in environmental engineering from South China University of technology, and a Ph.D. degree in engineering from the University of Hong Kong in 2015. Then, He engaged in post-doc research at the Swiss Federal Institute of water science and Technology (EAWAG). He joined West Lake University in 2018 and established the "environmental microbiome and Biotechnology Laboratory". He is currently engaged in cross cutting research in environmental engineering, microbiome and biotechnology. He won the "Young Scientist Award" in the engineering field of the Hong Kong Science Society and the "special prize" of the "shuiyuntian microbial ecology Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award" of the Chinese ecological society. Currently, Dr. Ju Feng serves as the reviewer, editor and editorial board of the journals of the Chinese Academy of engineering and frontier series, the young editorial board of ES&T, iMeta and other journals, and the international review expert of the Canadian Natural Science and Engineering Research Council (NSERC).
