Dr. Lu graduated from Shantou University with a Ph.D. degree in 2017. He was a visiting scholar/visiting researcher at the University of South Florida, U.S.A. from 2016 to 2017. He joined the School of Pharmacy, Sun Yat-sen University in 2017 as a postdoctoral researcher, and joined the Institute of Innovative Drug Formulation, School of Pharmacy, Jinan University in April 2020. Since he returned to China in 2017, he has hosted several projects including the National Natural Science Youth Foundation of China and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and participated as a major participant in many projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Provincial Key Area R&D Program Project for New Drug Creation, and the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation Research Team Project. He has published more than 20 papers in ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, J. Controlled Release, Acta Biomater. and Adv. Healthcare Mater. In recent years, he has supervised or assisted in supervising a number of undergraduate and doctoral students to complete their academic theses, and many of them have been awarded excellent theses or poster presentations in academic conferences.
