Professor Ren Yuan obtained her B.S. degree, M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree from South China University of technology in 1992, 1995 and 2007 respectively. In 2010, she did her post-doc research at Rutgers University, New Jersey, and she went to the University of Queensland, Australia to participate in senior visiting scholar research in 2017. Her research fields mainly include (I) The biological treatment technology of urban sewage and toxic and refractory industrial wastewater; (II) Biodegradation / bioremediation technology and mechanism of toxic and refractory organics; (Ⅲ)Ecological environmental benefits and management of drugs and personal care products. She has presided over and participated in many scientific research projects such as the general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the key R & D Program projects of the Ministry of science and technology. She has published many papers in high-level journals such as ES & T and Water Res. and won several national invention patents.
