Dr. Lu’s research field is food microbiology and molecular biology. He’s mainly engaged in the resource mining and collation of functional probiotics, the development of the analysis method of intestinal flora diversity, intestinal microecology and diversity of Chinese people, and the development of special probiotics suitable for different people in China. He is the PI of one National Natural Fund project and one National Youth Fund project, completed one Postdoctoral Fund project, and participated in six national projects including the key projects of the National Natural Fund. He has received one provincial and ministerial award, applied for eight national invention patents, and published seven papers as first author.
