Sidath Ekanayake received his B.Sc. in Export Agriculture from the Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka in 2020 and joined NIFS in the same year. He is following a master's in Natural Recourses management at the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. His research focuses on Environmental valuation and impact assessment. His research interests include Soil carbon sequestration with special reference to Biofilm biofertilizer application, Climate change mitigation, Environmental Conservation and Management, Natural Resources and Environmental Economics.
