Luyan Ma

Dr. Ma had obtained B.S. in 1991 and Ph.D. in 1996. She had been appointed as an associate professor in China Agricultural University in 1999. She had worked as a post-doctoral fellow from Institute Pasteur and studied on the mechanism of cell division as a visiting scholar in University of Connecticut,USA. Currently she is the professor of Institution of Microbiology of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her major research includes formation and development of bacterial biofilm, the structure and controlling of associative nitrogen fixation bacteria genome, mechanism of cell division and cytoskeleton.
