Dr. Junyan Liu is an associate professor in Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering. She had been a research associate and postdoctoral fellow in University of Maryland, College Park from 2019 to 2021. She had obtained her Ph.D. degree from South China University of Technology in 2019 and studied in University of Tennessee Health Science Center during 2016 to 2017. Since 2019, she has been appointed as Distinguished Visiting Scientist in Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon of Thailand. Her major research field include microbial biofilm, antimicrobial resistance, VBNC state and polymicrobial interaction. She has published >50 papers as the first or corresponding author, with a total impact factor >200. She has awarded the Bronze Prize of the first National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in 2021, the “Outstanding Young Investigator Award in Biofilms” granted by (IF 4.639) and 2020 Postdoc Research Showcase 2nd Place Winner in Tennessee, USA. She is also the editorial board member of journals and , and guest editor of 6 journals.
