Prof. Wang Aijie received her Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, and then pursued her post-doc in Municipal Engineering from the Institute of Engineering Mechanics, China Earthquake Administration. Her main research directions during her teaching period at Harbin Institute of Technology include (I) new principles, new methods and new technologies for coupled resource recycling in wastewater biological treatment (II) bioelectrochemical assisted enhancement of the directional transformation of refractory organic pollutants Theory and technology (Ⅲ) organic The theory and method of microbial ecology for the cascade utilization of waste (excess sludge, waste biomass, etc.), directional biotransformation and resource utilization(Ⅳ) engineering system. She presided or participated in more than ten scientific research projects, and published more than 70 papers indexed by SCI. In addition, she has won many honorary titles such as the winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2012), and has won ten provincial and national, provincial and ministerial science and technology awards.
