Dr. Qian had obtained B.S. in Department of Biology of Yunnan University in 1994, Master degree in Institute of Ecology and Geobotany of Yunnan University in 1997 and Ph.D. in evolutionary biology in 2005 from State Key Laboratory of Systematic and Evolutionary Botany (LSEB), Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences and did his post-doc in 2003 and worked as research fellow from 2003 in State Key Laboratory of Plant Genomics (SKLPG), Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
