Assistant Professor, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore.
Dr. Archer had obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Maryland, Baltimore under the supervision of Dr. Mark Shirtliff where he uncovered the immune responses that dictate S. aureus nasal colonization. He had worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the lab of Dr. Lloyd Miller at School of Medicine in Johns Hopkins University, where he had discovered a role for the skin microbiome to drive IL-1α mediated atopic dermatitis-like skin inflammation that has implications in the treatment of dysbiosis found in atopic dermatitis patients.
