Dr. Chen is an associate professor in Guangdong Institute of Microbiology. His research focuses on the microbiological food safety, now focus on the diversity, persistence, and detection techniques of foodborne Listeria monocytogenes. Till Sept. 2019, he has published more than 30 SCI papers and 8 Chinese patents. He is the PI of 7 grants in recent 3 years, including National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province and Pearl River S&T Nova Program of Guangzhou.
