Dr. Yang had obtained the Ph.D. in Technical University of Denmark in 2009, and had joined Nanyang Technological University in Singapore as an assistant professor in 2012. Yang was appointed as the Assistant Chair in the School of Biological Sciences and the Deputy Research Director of the Public Health Cluster in Singapore Centre for Environment Life Science Engineering (SCELSE) in NTU. He is currently an editorial board member of Applied and Environmental Microbiology (ASM) and Biofilm (ELSEVIER).
