Kendra Rumbaugh

Dr. Rumbaugh received her B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1996. She then attended graduate school at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in Lubbock, where her Ph.D. work focused on the role of quorum sensing in the pathogenesis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. After receiving her Ph.D. in medical microbiology in 2001 she did postdoctoral training at the University of California at San Francisco. She eventually returned to Lubbock, where she is now a tenured Professor in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Rumbaugh had been invited as a keynote speaker in ChinaBiofilms 2017 in Guangzhou China.
